Pune (Maharashtra) [India]: Kakoli Ghosh, a dedicated teacher and passionate animal activist from the vibrant city of Kolkata, showcased her grace, confidence, and determination at the prestigious Mrs. India Empress of the Nation 2023 pageant. Kakoli Ghosh achieved the remarkable feat of walking away with the crown as 2nd runner-up in the Elite category. That’s not all – she also bagged the subtitle of Mrs. Photogenic.
The 4th season of Mrs. India Empress of the Nation by DIVA Pageants, held on June 18, 2023, at the HYATT Pune, featured 50 remarkable women from diverse backgrounds who captivated the audience with their charm and charisma. She has not only made her state of Kolkata proud but is determined to bring pride to her country as well.
“With the excellent support and guidance of Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas, Founders, DIVA Pageants, I gained tremendous confidence and was ready to make a mark on the world stage. They wave a magic wand on all the contestants – and at the end of the day, everyone goes home a winner – with their dedicated mentoring, grooming and motivation that they give us all”, beams Kakoli.
As an internationally accredited Cuemath teacher, Kakoli Ghosh finds immense joy in shaping young minds and believes that education is essential for everyone, especially the underprivileged. Her dream is to establish a small school for underprivileged children, aiming to provide them with the opportunity to receive a quality education.
Kakoli Ghosh’s dedication to social work extends beyond the classroom. She actively works as an animal activist, collaborating with various NGOs to care for stray animals and abandoned pets. She diligently seeks adoption and foster homes to ensure the well-being of these vulnerable beings. Kakoli serves as a board member of Pashupati Animal Welfare in Kolkata, demonstrating her commitment to animal welfare.
Recognizing her remarkable contributions, Kakoli Ghosh was honored with the Excellence Award 2023 as an animal activist. Her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others is truly commendable.
Furthermore, Kakoli Ghosh actively engages in community service by visiting orphanages and homes for the visually impaired. “We like to spend some quality time with the residents, particularly during special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries”, she smiles. Her compassionate nature and genuine empathy make a significant difference in the lives of those she interacts with.
Kakoli Ghosh’s unwavering positivity, confidence, and strong belief in kindness and empathy drive her to make a difference in the world. Her spiritual strength is derived from her faith and prayers, empowering her to overcome challenges and pursue her dreams with determination.
And with the unwavering support from her husband, Dr. Saibal Ghosh, a renowned pulmonogist, and her loving daughter, Diya, who is extremely proud of her mother’s achievements, Kakoli is all set to win many more laurels soon! “It was my dream to wear the crown and the sash – and that done, through this amazing win I wish to make a shelter for the strays and use the fame and glory of this platform to connect with people who will make this journey easier and better”, she signs off.
